Okay people, I don't know about you but the Hunger Games is seeming to be a big hit so far. I'm a huge reader and everything, but I have to admit that I haven't read the Hunger Games. I am the only one in my little group of friends that hasn't, and even though that makes me somewhat to want to read them, I'm just not sure if I would like them.
The big deal about the Hunger Games these past couple weeks is mostly because of the excitement of the movie coming out on March 23. I am unsure if I'm going to see the movie and either decide if I want to read it or not, just read the book before I see it, or just not see it or read it at all. From what I've heard though, it is an amazing book and I honestly have no doubt about that. Obviously from the attention it's getting, how could it not be?
As you know, I am a HUGE Twilight fan, (Hint: The name of my blog) and watching this turn into a what seems like a big deal is making me wonder if these books really could be as good as the Twilight series. Or even the Harry Potter books, if we want to bring those in. (Which I actually HAVE read, even though I truly believe that vampires beat witches ANY day.)
Anywho, I just thought I would write about this and hopefully get some opinions from other people who have read the Hunger Games and hopefully the Twilight series as well. I'm really excited to see how these attention getting books and movie goes. Maybe it will turn out as good (Or if you're my English teacher, as bad) as the Twilight series. Just my input.
